Even I teared up a bit at times for this fantastic wedding up at the Flying Cloud in Petaluma. The setting was beautiful as these two families celebrated their coming together. Lots of laughs, tears and DANCING! So fun. I always feel like the images fly by too fast in the slideshows (and that is great for showcasing a LOT of images), but I like to slow things down a bit and highlight a few of my favorites (40 is a few, right?) Also, check out the ones I showcased how fabulous it is to have Dave Chuidian shooting with me, we always have such different takes on the same scene!

S&R Engaged – Sonoma County wedding photographer

S&R have just moved down from Alaska, and with their wedding in only 2 weeks, we snuck in a quick engagement/new family session. It was so fun to walk and chat and really get to know them before the wedding. It just adds a whole comfort level with the wedding, going there to photograph people I know and not strangers! If this session was any indicator, this is going to be a FUN wedding!

Dave and I had a fantastic time at Jessica & Ian’s wedding at Nicholson Ranch in Sonoma. Beautiful location + fun people = fantastic wedding! I thought it would be fun to showcase some of the images Dave and I took at nearly the same time. There are sooo many advantages to having 2 seasoned photographers at your wedding. One of course is that we can be in different places at the same time. The other is that even at the same place we each have our own unique view. Check out the comparisons at the end.

It was so fantastic to have the opportunity to visit South Lake Tahoe again for another gorgeous wedding. You couldn’t have asked for a lovelier fall day. And the sunset….to die for. The Valhalla has such character, and was totally fitting for Karin and Steve who are characters themselves!! You could tell their number one priority was to have a great time celebrating their commitment to each other and Dave and I were thrilled to be part of it. Especially since Karin is a childhood friend of Dave’s! Here are some of my favorites from the day…
