It always makes me feel extra special when a quieter child opens up and interacts with me. C is such a sweetie, and he has gained such confidence in just the 6 short months since the first time we met! Riverfront park is always a fun spot, with sticks and rocks and fences to show off your acrobatic skills 🙂
What a privilege to photograph these firefighters! Grandfather,father, son and son in law. This family is a family of firefighters. Grandpa is 90. Yep. Not a typo…unbelievable the energy and joy he has at 90 years. He had us all grinning and laughing the whole time. And you wouldn’t have guessed it from the pics, but we took these on the hottest day we had all month. I think it was pushing 90 degrees and they were sweating it out in their turnouts! I am so excited to share these with this family. I know these images will be cherished for generations to come.
We were rained out the first time we were suppose to meet. And the day dawned, dark and foreboding. But then the afternoon peaked in gorgeous sunlight! YAY! A called me just hours before the session “is it ok if I wear a dress and cowboy boots”…um “YES!!!!” Love it. They were all so cute, especially big brother Bodie…very big brother…150lbs of furry big brother 🙂

I can never get enough of 6 month olds! By far my favorite age to photograph. Q is such a cute little peanut and she kept those blue eyes! wow! (mom and dad both have brown). So fun! Can’t wait to see her again when she’s walking! Oh! and don’t you just love her little hats and sweater! Her mama made those!!
