Steve & Karin – South Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer

It was so fantastic to have the opportunity to visit South Lake Tahoe again for another gorgeous wedding. You couldn’t have asked for a lovelier fall day. And the sunset….to die for. The Valhalla has such character, and was totally fitting for Karin and Steve who are characters themselves!! You could tell their number one priority was to have a great time celebrating their commitment to each other and Dave and I were thrilled to be part of it. Especially since Karin is a childhood friend of Dave’s! Here are some of my favorites from the day…

Sweet little baby B came with lots of great hand-made blankets, hats even these teeny booties that fit her just perfectly! I love the green/pink one her Nana made for her, its so fun and unusual!

What big boy! I love all his squishy rolls and his personality! I feel like the photos need captions!! I loved the cowboy hats and it was incredibly special to be able to include grandpa’s hands! While Mr. K filled up his tummy big sister and I played a little peek-a-boo. She was such the good big sister, although with his size, before long “older” sister will have to replace “big”!

Senior O – Santa Rosa Senior Portraits

We had a great time exploring Santa Rosa’s Railroad square, lots of great old buildings. Rainy and overcast most of the day, the clouds parted right around 4pm for our session! Have you noticed how often this happens? Its so strange to me, but I hate to cancel a session until the last minute because the most beautiful evenings happen after gloomy days! Then we headed to Spring lake for some more “nature” shots. Lots of fun!

This little lady already has quite the wardrobe of hats and tutu’s! She is super sweet and curly and I don’t think she even woke up for all the hat changes!
