My session with little Miss Z reaffirmed all the reasons I love photographing newborns. Newborns are miracles! When you slow down and take the time to photograph them in all their newness you can’t help but marvel and the miraculousness of it all! And to share in their parents joy. As they too are smitten with wonder at how such a tiny being can so fully capture them. And how amazing it is to see mommy’s lips and daddy’s dimples combined in a whole new way!
Its such a joy to watch my clients grow up. I feel like time really sped by since his newborn pictures (or maternity pictures before that!). I love catching the little things they do. Like him sucking his middle two fingers. I swear things like that are genetic, and maybe his grandbaby will suck her fingers just like that and they’ll have a picture to prove that he did it!
It was really fun to meet up with Jessica for a second time, this time without her braces and with a whole new confidence in her smile! Yay! We had a fun exploring foothill park in Windsor and all the wildflowers we found! I love your new smile Jessica! Gorgeous!
Meeting up with the K family at Sonoma State was the perfect way to get to know them a bit more before I shoot their wedding in June! Little Miss K was quite the charmer. And was kind enough to share the camera a bit with Mommy & Daddy for a few “couples” shots! And to top it off, it was such a beautiful day! Can’t wait for the wedding!
Little L & R are so tiny! L especially! I was really taken with how tiny his fingers are and how his skin is still the super smooth pre-mie skin. So sweet. They both did great for pictures and only pooped and peed on Dad (maybe mom worked out a deal?, I give birth you poop on dad?) Enjoy the babies!
