J Senior – Santa Rosa Senior Photographer

After rescheduling this session because our first day looked to be rainy (but then cleared into a gorgous afternoon at the last minute. We were a little bummed that the weatherman was wrong (yet again) and it wasn’t any better the next day!! But we grabbed every ray of sunshine that came our way and had a fun time finding even more great little niches at Foothill park!

M&V Married!

Their wedding day weather was the kind of weather that makes even experienced photographers quiver. It was dark. Dark. And raining off and on. And this couple traveled all the way from New York to beautiful Sonoma county, and I was so annoyed with our weather…not showing its best to our guests on their wedding day! But M&V weren’t phased. They didn’t blink. Their happiness was so apparent! No worries as to the weather.

Well, it was a day I really pushed my camera, (for my photog friends…the OUTDOOR pictures where taken at ISO 2000!) Indoors at least I could use my flash! Anyhow. The rain held at bay and we trapsed through the damp leaves and I LOVE how the pictures turned out! As beautiful as their wedding day was.

Newborn A

It was great to meet the C family. While the weather outside was a bit frightful, the studio was the perfect spot! I’m just LOVING have such a great space! I’m afraid this little man will be the “baby” of the family his whole life…! He’s quite doted on by them already! It was fun to use my little scale I picked up…this little man does actully weigh in at 12.5lbs now! Love those cheeks!

It was quite the gloomy day, but fortunately it was nice and warm inside next to their big sliding glass door. Big brother wasn’t much into being a model that day, but little C was willing and adorable.

It was so exciting to do this session in my studio with my new lighting! I love it! Its so amazing to have total control over the light! I went for a bit more dramatic look here, which is really impossible using only natural light. Can’t wait to meet this litte one too!
