I have to admit…I was a bit nervous about this session! This family are dear friends of my family. We love our game nights with them and the kids have all gone to school together since Kindergarten, and so, in some ways the kids know me so well I wasn’t sure if they’d humor me for photos! But they were so good! And they even SEEMED to think I was funny 🙂 I kind of wanted to bring Settlers of Catan out (our favorite game for family night)…but those of you who know Settlers know there are WAY to many pieces! So, we had to suffice with some chess…
I’m just loving the beautiful fall colors this year. Since we haven’t had much rain/storms the leaves have stayed on the trees/vines so nicely! We had a gorgeous sunny morning. It was a bit windy but we still had a great time! These two are funny and relaxed and I know this is one lucky baby to have such great parents!
Its such a privilege to document families as they grow, to watch Mr. C change from the shy, crazy curly haired toddler to the little boy who is teaching me to count in French! And Mr. J, the tiny baby to a toddler! Such a joy!
I look forward to watching these girls grow each year! Big sister B is such a little lady now! She was super happy for our session and gave such lovely smiles! Little sister R has always been quick to warm and smile, but she is getting FAST these days, but I’m always up for a challenge. Sonoma State was just beautiful!
It was so great to see this family again! Its been a few years, and Miss S has changed so much! From a little girl into a teenager! But some things never change and she and her brother are so great together. We had a beautiful morning, you would have thought it was the afternoon with such great light!
