J is 8 months old and wants to STAND. I love how babies are so focused on whatever skill they are learning and they do it over and over and over. Such perseverance! But we coerced a few other poses out of this little man!

Happy Birthday to this beautiful Mama to be! We had a great time doing these photographs. Such a great way to remember such a fleeting time! Before we know it V will be here and it pregnancy becomes a vague memory!

It was great to see this family again, I’ve been photographing them since R was a newborn and now he’s a daring 2 year old! What a difference a year makes. Last year at 1, he wasn’t quite walking….and now he’s running, climbing, and jumping – off chairs!!! Puppy dog Fenway came to his newborn session and it was great to see him again…but Fenway also has a jumping addiction and hurt his paw! Poor pup! I love the one where Fenway has his tongue out, and a slightly guilty look (yep he just swiped a big ole wet kiss!). And I love all the hugs and snuggles. Great family!

Miss J REALLY, and I mean REALLY liked her cake. She loved the feel of it between her fingers and she managed to get a good amount of it in her tummy too! She is such an adorable little one, with her scrunchy nose smile and hobbly “crawl” So fun!

I just love 6 month olds with their wide mouthy grins! I had a great time breaking out the macro lens for the baby part collage too! I need to do one for Felix now! I am planning on doing more collage prints, they are just such a great way to showcase baby parts, or even a cake smash!
