Little Miss Q – Petaluma Children Photography

The timing was just right on this session. We were so excited that Q chose to take her first steps for me! She was really showing off her ability to get up and stand on her own, and the itchy grass pushed her right over as she didn’t want to crawl off it, so she walked right off! So the triptych is actually her first steps caught on film (or sensor I guess!). And someday I’ll have to apologize for showing off her rolly thighs…but I just love them. They remind me of my guy Lucas when he was one!

Here she is dancing to “twinkle twinkle little star” yep, I’m that good of a singer.

I love the colors in this pic, but my FAVORITE thing is how she is standing on her tippy-toes. I just love how kids do that. I NEVER stand on tippy-toe. Maybe I should?

It was so fun to meet up with this little one, I was certainly hoping for a warmer, less windy day so we could have taken better advantage of the beautiful outdoors, but this family was warm and inviting, and just overflowing with excitement about this little man.

I have a feeling this little guy won’t be known as Little B for long. He’s got hands and feet that remind me of a large puppy…you just know he’ll grow into them! At only 5 days old he was surprisingly alert. He doesn’t want to miss a thing…but Dad was an expert at soothing him right back to sleep. I had a great time meeting this new little family. And I also really enjoyed trying some WHITE backdrops for a change…what do you think? I love to get comments…

Double Blessings – Santa Rosa Newborn Photography

Whew! This has been a blogging marathon for me! Catching up on all these beautiful babies I’ve been privledged to photograph recently! I can’t get over how amazingly unique and beautiful each baby is…including these twins! I still remember when their mama told me she was following in my footsteps and expecting twins! I was so excited for her. As if it isn’t mind boggling enough that one baby forms from nothing into a fully formed miracle…twins amaze all the more…Here is a HUGE sneak peek…but to be fair its more like 2 sessions so I can justify all the pictures right?

Their big sisters were so good with them…wasn’t it nice of mom to have one for each of them?!

Maybe she’s born with it…. – Windsor Newborn Photography

I was in love with this little girl’s eyelashes! They are incredibly long (big sister has them too!) Little A was a sweet as can be, and patiently took all the loving from her big brother and sister. She even gave us some nice eye open shots too! I always love to wonder what color those newborn eyes will be…will they stay light? Only time will tell. Either way she’ll be batting those long lashes at her daddy in no time.
