I had a blast photographing M, she was up for anything and wanted creative and unique shots…perfect! We wandered around Healdsburg a bit…I love that area, and little nook here and there…all so different!
I keep telling myself I need to make smaller sneak peeks, they are really getting out of control! But I get really excited about all the fun things we do at a session, especially senior sessions. For me its just 2 hours of creative fun. We go somewhe…re and I just try to find all the great little nooks and backgrounds I can. Senior A was no exception. What a fun guy! It was a pleasure!

The weatherman tried to scare us off, but it turned out to be a great day at the beach…for pictures at least! D was awesome. He was up for anything and I LOVED playing with my new lensbaby (a lens that makes the sort of dreamy/blurry pics). I did o…f course take a ton of great “yearbook” shots. But, these were my favorites

WOW! You captured the true essence of Derek, great photograpy! Of course being grandma I am just a tad prejudice. Can't wait to see the rest!

wow these are great! I hope I can find someone great for my senior photos!
Last weekend I had a double header at Riverfront…and guess what…I FOUND the RIVER! Yep it is there. J and I had to go down some “wrong” paths…and we were a bit daunted by flying gnat like bugs…but we perservered. While J claimed to not really be a “wilderness” kinda a gal…she wasn’t going to let that stop us from getting some awesome pics! We had way to much fun, and I was very thankful for her boyfriend who was an excellent reflector holder…even if he did nearly have me jump out of my skin when he made a sound when I was walking in some tall grass and I thought something was gonna get me!
It was great meeting up with B and his family. We hiked all over Foothill park, which has basically been his extended backyard his whole life, making it extra meaningful to have his senior portraits taken here. B had a great sense of humor (or at least he laughed at my jokes :)), and it was such a laid back easy going session!
